A Friend In Need...

In Loving Memory Of...
Samantha Von Douangmala
March 5, 1995 - March 10, 2010

A difficult time for us all. And especially her family. The world sadly and unfortunately lost Samantha and broke the hearts of many. While we never want to see the people we love go - we especially hate seeing them leave so soon and with so much potential.

Tremendous support has come from near and far with many people reaching out to lend a hand for help. Some lent their hearts, their tears, and their ears to listen. And while no one really knows what to say - it is fair to express that everyone who ever met, knew, cared for or loved Samantha is in this together.

With this unfortunate and unexpected occurrence, the family also incurred unexpected costs in order to provide Samantha with a proper service on top of the already terrific emotional stress. I take this time to ask for any and all help to relieve her family of some of this monetary pressure. A donation to help cover the costs incurred. At this point any amount will help.

All donations can be made securely through PayPal (requires account) or Google Checkout. I have set up a fund for her family and 100% of your donations will go to cover these expenses. Any amount received over the cost will be donated to a foundation for the suicide prevention and awareness.

I would like to thank everyone that has supported her and her family both while she was with us, and even after this tragic occurrence. My heart and unadulterated love goes out to everyone involved in even the slightest way.

You can follow either of the links to make your donations. Please do not hesitate to contact me with any issues, questions, comments, or concerns.

Blues.
Used up. This soft cuddly loneliness smasher has found himself under the arms of many a fearful souls. Torn and tattered - he keeps himself together continuing to fend off big bad closet monsters. Don't let the fluff confuse you - there's a heart underneath the stuffing. Everyone knows the heart can make a bear do crazy things. Sweet dreams!!

Censored

When it's no longer funny. When it all becomes a bit too real. Why not turn and look the other way. Denial. Ignorance. Are too synonymous with security. And that, to me, is terrifying.

Face the ugly - even if it's your own mirror.

Goat Suckers

Simply put:

If you're a baseball fan - you love it.
If you're a Cubs' fan - get over it.
No, not the sign, the fact that you'll never really have a team worth cheering for.

Sorry, harsh words. I don't want to alienate people.

But c'mon!! Goat cheese?! That's funny.
(Thank you CosmROKS)

The Executive

In the corporate world, suckers are born every minute - some might say they multiply like... well, rabbits! Accomplish what you may, don't ever think that somebunny won't come around and snatch your seat from under you. (OK, OK - no more rabbit jokes) Stick a pipe in your mouth - sit your ass behind a desk and you too can be an executive.

Regardless of their ruthlessness and cold-hearted approach to business (redundant, I know) at the end of the day they're just trying to keep a happy home like the rest of us. Although, I suppose you could justify the swindling of billions of dollars by chalking it up to having to raise 200 little babie bunnies. And really, who could be mad at that - they're just so darn cute!
